Who paid, how much, what for and who issued it, on one A4 receipt with the amount spelled out in international or Indian grouping.

What this does
  • The amount writes itself out as, for example, “USD One Thousand Two Hundred and 50/100 only”, with the cents left as a fraction
  • Indian grouping swaps thousand-lakh-crore in for thousand-million-billion, and both hyphenate the tens as Twenty-One
  • Six payment methods, cash and UPI among them, or type your own, above a numbered header and an authorised-signature rule
  • pdf-lib writes the file in this tab and the browser saves it, so the payer’s name and the amount are never posted
FAQ

A receipt is the payee’s written acknowledgement that money was received, and this one carries what is normally expected of that: a number, a date, who paid, how much, in what form, what for, and who issued it. What it is not is a tax invoice. There is no tax field anywhere on this form, so if you need to charge or reclaim VAT, GST or any other sales tax, that document wants a registration number and a tax breakdown this one has nowhere to put. Add them into the issuer block, or reach for an invoice instead.
