Laying out the letterhead…

How it works

Letterhead Generator With Your Own Logo

Add your logo and company block, then type the letter. The accent rule and the footer contact line are redrawn on every page it runs to.

What this does
  • Logo from PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF or an SVG that declares its own size, redrawn through a canvas and embedded as PNG at up to 1400 px
  • Logo, company name, tagline and address align as one block against either margin or on the centre line
  • The company name shrinks from 20 pt towards 11 pt until it fits the width, rather than wrapping to a second line
  • Accent rule under the masthead and a matching tab in the footer, both in a colour you pick
  • Continuation pages carry a slim name band, or the full masthead if you switch that on
  • Single line breaks inside a paragraph survive, so an address block or a sign-off stacks the way you typed it
FAQ

Anything the browser can decode as an image, because the file is drawn onto a canvas and handed to the PDF as PNG. A transparent PNG gives the cleanest masthead. An SVG only works if it declares width and height attributes, without them there is no intrinsic size to scale from, and you get an error where the logo would have gone. The long edge is capped at 1400 px, so supply at least 600 px if the letterhead is going to be printed rather than emailed.
