What this does
  • Rate times quantity on every line, with one tax percentage applied to the subtotal underneath
  • Valid-until date, thirty days out by default, printed as a sentence beneath the totals as well as in the header
  • The numeric columns are measured before the table is drawn and step down from 10.5 pt to 7.5 pt, so a six-figure rate cannot overprint the amount beside it
  • 24 currencies, plus a custom symbol field of up to four characters for anything not on the list

It is a one-page document. Once the table reaches the space held back for the totals and the terms, the rows still to come are summarised on a single line instead of running off the sheet. Their amounts are still counted in the subtotal and the total, nothing is lost from the arithmetic, only from the table. If every row has to be visible, shorten the descriptions or group similar work into one line.
