How do I print the 4 × 6 sheet without the photos coming out undersized?

The sheet is 1200 × 1800 pixels with 300 DPI recorded inside the file, which is exactly a 4 × 6 inch lab print. Print it borderless at 4 × 6 with every scaling option switched off, “fit to page” and “shrink to fit” each shave a millimetre or two off every photo, which is enough to fail a passport check. Then cut along the faint ruled lines.

How many copies fit on the sheet?

It depends on the preset, and the number is printed on the sheet button. The layout is tried in both orientations at three different spacings, so a 35 × 45 mm crop fits eight copies while a 2 × 2 in one only reaches six, and then only with the copies butted right up against each other.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. The image is decoded, cropped and re-encoded by a canvas element inside this tab, and the download is assembled from bytes that never left it. This is the one place on the site worth spelling that out: a passport photo is a biometric image of your face, destined for an identity document.

No, and no browser tool honestly can. The overlay marks the band your crown should sit in and the line your chin should touch for the preset selected, 25 to 35 mm of head height for the US, 29 to 34 mm for the UK, but lining your face up with them is your judgement call. Background, shadows, expression and headwear rules are yours to meet as well, so read your country’s official guidance before you pay for prints.
