Working Days Calculator: Business Days Between Dates

Count the business days between two dates with both ends included, set which days your week actually rests on, and take off the public holidays that land on a working day.

What this does
  • Both the start date and the end date are counted, so Monday to Friday is five days
  • Seven weekend patterns, from Saturday–Sunday through Thursday–Friday to no weekend at all
  • Set hours per working day and the total comes back as working hours as well
FAQ

Public holidays differ by country, by state and often by employer, so a built-in list would be silently wrong for most people using it. Typing the number yourself takes a moment and keeps the answer honest. Count only the holidays that land on a working day inside your range, one falling on a Saturday has already been taken out with the weekend, and subtracting it again costs you a day.
