Bates Numbering: Stamp a Legal Series on a PDF
Stamps ABC000001 onward on every page, with your own prefix and suffix, padding from 3 to 8 digits and a choice of six positions.
What this does
- Prefix and suffix around a number padded to 3–8 digits, or no padding at all
- Start at any number up to 99,999,999, and the summary shows where the next file begins
- Six positions, 28 pt in from the page edge, at a size from 6 to 18 pt
- Pages carrying a /Rotate entry are stamped in the corner the reader actually sees
- The first and last stamp are shown before anything is written to the file
